Sure, braking records don’t get the glory of top speed, 1/4 mile, or 0-60 records, but anyone who has ever been on a race track can attest to powerful, consistent brakes being every bit as important as acceleration. The Koenigsegg Agera previously held the 300kph-0 record (186MPH) at 6.6 seconds. The engineers at Porsche, however, have outdone it with their new 911 GT3 RS 4.0; reducing it to 6.5 seconds. To prove it, and maybe for some bragging rights, Porsche even posted a video of the car setting the record.
